Welcome to our healing church.

Renton church exterior

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Renton, has been part of the Renton, Washington, community since 1929. Along with Christian Science churches in more than 80 countries, we’re a branch of The Mother Church – The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.

You’ll find our church at 220 Whitworth Avenue South (map). As fellow “seekers for Truth,” we warmly welcome anyone searching to understand the true nature of man and the universe, as God’s perfect spiritual creation.

Please join us for our Sunday morning church service at 10 a.m. or our Wednesday evening testimony meeting at 7:30 p.m. Young people are always welcome in our Sunday School.

Our Reading Room is located at 212 Wells Avenue South (map) and is open Monday, Friday and Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Here’s how to get in touch with us and find our church.

Community Prayer Project
Renton continues to face many challenges and we want to share in prayerful and inspired support for this community that we all love. We invite everyone to join us in this effort for much can be accomplished when many are focused on the same goal. Regardless of your church affiliation (or non-affiliation), we hope you will pray during the month on the chosen topic which will be publicized every week in our advertisement in the Renton Reporter. In addition, we hope you will share the inspiration you gain or even suggest topics to be covered in future months. Your sharing can be done by phone messages (425-255-0783), email messages, or in person at the Renton Christian Science Reading Room (212 Wells Ave. S.). How exciting it will be for all in our community to come together with inspiration and humble prayer to help Renton thrive and progress in 2010!
